Give in proportion to the way God has blessed you.
Giving is meant to be a joyful expression of thanks to God from the heart, not a legalistic obligation. As you enjoy worshiping God in this way, you can support the work of your local church ministry. Thank you for being a good steward of what God has given to you. Why We Give
There are many biblical principles that guide us in our attitude toward, desire for, acquisition of, and use of money. God is the one who gives us the ability to make money, and everything that we have belongs to Him. Heavenly treasure is to be more desired than earthly treasure, for Christ said, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:19-20). These truths should guide the way we think about our finances.
