One of the best kept secrets at Immanuel Baptist Church is its library. When you come inside, you will find friendly desk people, a play/drawing area for your little ones, comfortable chairs for adults, junior and children’s books, biographies, books to help in your Bible study, board books for your little ones, DVDs for adults and children, books on parenting, marriage, apologetics, history, and much more. We want you to come see us :)–so here are the directions:

Our library is located in the Mizpah wing through the swinging door. From the sanctuary at the back of the church (Thompson St. side), turn to the right, go past the courtyard, and go in the next set of black double doors. Going through the double doors near the piano or organ, and down the back hallway towards the Welcome Center proceed to the little hallway housing the primary department. Go out the double glass doors to the main sidewalk, turn right past our large picture window, and enter through the black double doors.

In case those are locked, a doorbell is there for your convenience.

The librarian, Martha Hancock, is available to open the library on most Sunday evenings as needed. Contact us at or call the church office, 804-355-8691.
