WORD OF LIFE KIDS CLUBS
We need a few more people for our Wednesday night Word of Life Kids Clubs starting in September:
• Gopher Buddies (preschool age) Teacher/Helper
IY (YOUTH) VOLUNTEERS – Up to 4 people
Pastor Thomas is looking for up to 4 more volunteers to work with our teens! This involves interacting and building relationships with the students, as well as co-leading small group discussion. You must be a church member, pass a background check, and complete our Child Protection Training. We have a great crew of young people, so an awarding volunteer opportunity awaits!
A/V TEAM ROTATION – 6 people
Shawn Corcoran, our Deacon of Technology is looking for more people to join our rotating team in the A/V booth. You don’t have to be a member and training is provided! We need people willing to join a rotation for sound board, running the screen content, and monitoring the camera/livestream.
SECURITY TEAM – 1 person
The Security Team is looking for one additional volunteer to join our rotating schedule. This position requires a commitment of one Sunday morning per month, plus occasional special events or services. Volunteers must be church members, at least 18 years old, will need to pass a background check, and complete our Child Protection Training. No special skills are necessary—just a heart to serve. WELCOME TEAM – 8 people
The Welcome Team is refreshing its areas of service and is looking for several people to join! You don’t have to be a member yet – we’re looking for people who enjoy meeting new people and making them feel welcome! This requires a short time of training – nothing complicated – just enough to help you feel confident. There is nothing more reassuring for a visitor than a friendly smile who is happy to answer any questions, be a cheerful guide, and look for any changes to connect!
VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENTS (& more!) TEAM – 2 people
Are you a natural on-camera? We are loving our new format of sharing video announcements at the start of our morning gathering. As you may have noticed, we could use a few more faces on our team in order to keep things fresh! We need YOU. This opportunity is open to members or non-members who are a bit savvy with your cell phone, able to take our script, import into the teleprompter app, and record your enthusiastic greeting. No editing necessary. We have a backdrop, lav mic, and tripod set up in the church office for your use. We want to expand into more storytelling of testimonies, too. This can have SUCH an amazing impact, so if you have this gifting, please reach out!
NURSERY VOLUNTEERS – 2 people
We are looking for 2 volunteers to add to our rotation of nursery volunteers. For this role, you must be church members, at least 18 years old, will need to pass a background check, and complete our Child Protection Training. If you’re interested, please contact the church office or Emmi Stephens, our Children’s Ministry Director.
