Sam is a Jewish believer in Jesus who has a passion to communicate the Good News to his people, and to see discipleship established in Jewish communities around the world. Sam grew up in an Orthodox Jewish home in Queens, NY, but as he grew older, he eventually came to receive what only the Messiah of Israel can give: atonement and new life. Having found Jesus as his Messiah, Sam has been in full-time service for Him since the early 1970s. Sam served with Jews for Jesus where he established the JFJ New York City branch in 1975. Later as the President of Chosen People Ministries, he helped build international outreach, congregational planting and leadership development in Israel, Ukraine, Germany, South America, Canada and the U.S. Today, as president of Word of Messiah Ministries, Sam is continuing to develop leaders and outreach to make a world-wide impact for the Gospel among Jewish People. In 2008 he received an honorary doctoral degree from Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Sam has also authored several books including Messiah in the Feasts of Israel, The Messianic Answer Book, Messianic Foundations, The Israel Factor, Messianic Eldership, The Mysterious Parables, The Messiah in the End Times and devotional commentaries on Jonah and Ruth.
