Beginning November 8, 2020, Immanuel will host worship services at 8:30 and 10:30. The services will be identical—same music, sermon, and order of service offered twice. You just attend once. As attendance continues to grow, our goal is to provide an in-person worship gathering for all church members and first-time guests. This allows everyone to attend while maintaining our current safety guidelines. The livestream service will remain for the 10:30 service. The two-service format is temporary and will expire with the COVID-19 social distancing protocols.
Here are four benefits:
- Provides an in-person worship service option for every attendee
- Allows attendance to grow while maintaining safety guidelines
- Creates more space for social distancing, fellowship, and children’s ministry pick up and drop off
- Keeps service gatherings under a 250 person threshold
Attend-A-Service and Work-A-Service
This fall, we will learn about doing good works as we study the book of Titus. One of the last verses of Titus says, “And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful” (Titus 3:14). This new season allows you the opportunity to attend and serve. We are calling it “Attend-A-Service & Work-A-Service”. This applies to those already serving on Sunday morning. Now, others can join us. If you are new to Immanuel, this is a chance to plugin. I invite you to join one of our ministry teams in children’s ministry, music, ushering, sound and media, or security.
