There are many biblical principles that guide us in our attitude toward, desire for, acquisition of, and use of money. God is the one who gives us the ability to make money, and everything that we have belongs to Him. Heavenly treasure is to be more desired than earthly treasure, for Christ said, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” These truths should change the way we think about our finances.

When we give to God, we get blessed. And although our giving goes to the church, we are not just giving to a church. We are not giving to the pastor. We are giving our offerings to God alone. In fact, the Bible teaches us to give, for our own good and for our own blessing, from a cheerful heart.

If you are not able to come to a church service to participate in the corporate worship of giving, we encourage you to consider the opportunity to give online.

Here are the different ways you can give online:

Online Bill Pay – You can go to your bank account’s website and request a payment to IBC. Your bank will prepare a check to IBC and send it through the mail. There is no fee to IBC with this method.

Checking or Savings Account – Click the “Give Online” button below and specify “Checking” or “Savings” for account type. There is a nominal fee to IBC with this method.

Credit or Debit Card – You can click the “Give Online” button below and make a donation using your credit or debit card. There is a 2.75% fee to IBC with this method.

Giving is meant to be a joyful expression of thanks to God from the heart, not a legalistic obligation. As you enjoy worshiping God in this way, you can support the work of your local church ministry.

Thank you for being a good steward of what God has given to you.
