Gloria Duffey

Gloria serves as a part time staff member overseeing the various ministries that touch the lives of our children to equip and train them to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Gloria graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Education. She received an endorsement in the area of Emotional Disturbance for K-12 from William and Mary in 1982.  Gloria has been a professional educator with Henrico County Schools since September of 1982. Her flexibility has allowed her to teach autistic students, students with Intellectual Disabilities, students with Multi-Disabilities as well as serving as Department Chairman at two different schools. Gloria has been a member of Immanuel since 1994. Gloria has immersed herself in many ministries here at Immanuel.  She has served as a Youth Group leader since 1996. She spent 12 years as a teacher in the Vacation Bible School program. She has served as President and Vice-President of the Women’s Missionary Fellowship and also as Secretary of the Missions Council.  She has also served as the Lamb’s class coordinator since 2010.
